    How To Make Dripping Sandwich

Dripping is animal fat, usually cow, and it is tasty. In the home it is collected from the residues of roasted meat, although it’s used in larger quantities in fish and chip shops, where it is sometimes used to fry chips in place of oil. The fat has taken on all the flavor of the meat and as such used to be highly prized as a sandwich spread.
This is a true British classic, which is losing popularity. This is, quite frankly, a crime, and should be punishable by law. It’s time to revive the dripping (or, as they say in Yorkshire, “mucky fat”) sandwich.
    Makes 1
    INGREDIENTS
Dripping harvested from the roasting pan used to cook a piece of beef 2 slices bread
Sea salt and black pepper, to taste

Spread the dripping over 1 slice of bread, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with the other slice of bread. Serve at once.
