    How To Make Black Bean Burgers



    As well as these types of vegetarian burgers being easy to make they also taste very nice as well. When cooking them on the barbecue it is best if you place them inside a fish basket.


    Ingredients


    ½ Onion Diced
    1   Can Black Beans Well Drained
    118grams Flour
    2   Slices Bread Crumbled
    1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
    1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
    ½ Teaspoon Seasoned Salt
    Salt And Pepper To Taste

    Instructions


    1.  In a frying place the diced onion with some vegetable and cook for about 3 to 5 minutes or untilthe onions have become soft. Set to one side to cool a little.

    2.  Now into a large bowl place the beans and mash with a fork or potato masher until they arealmost smooth. Then to this add the onions and also the flour, bread crumbs, garlic power, onion powder and seasoned salt. When adding the flour do so a small amount at the time and make sure it is combined well before adding any more with the other ingredients.

    3.  Once all the ingredients have been combined together now divide it into equal amounts andform burger patties from them.  Ideally the patties you should make be about ¼ inch thick. Then place in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes before then placing on a preheated barbecue and cook until the patties have become firm.


    If you want the best way to cook these burgers on a barbecue is to place them in a fish basket. Not only does it help them to retain their shape better, but also turning them over is a lot easier.
